How many times have you woken up late and blamed your alarm clock? You discover that you’ve turned off the alarm while half asleep! This happens all too often because the snooze button turns itself off and we fall back to sleep. puZZed is the next innovative application from qbotron that is meant to eliminate this problem. Once your alarm goes off, puZZed will present you with a puzzle to solve before you can turn off that annoying alarm. puZZed will ensure you exercise your brain, forcing you to think clearly before you can turn it off. You’d better wake up, the puzzles will be impossible to solve if you’re still asleep! Once the alarm sounds, you will need to successfully solve the puzzle to turn it off and, before you know it, you’ll be wide awake. Simply insert the time you want to wake up into the app and switch it on – puZZed will help to ensure you never wake up late again! **Please note: 1. The purpose of the puzzles is NOT to entertain but to get you up in the morning :) 2. We are open for game suggestions to insert in future releases of puZZed so please don’t hesitate to send us those ideas! 3. If you’re not quite sure how to use the app, please send us email and we’ll explain it thoroughly!
Instructions/trouble shooting
Below is the complete list of steps you should take to successfully set up the app!
- Open the app
- Click on Set Alarm button
- Click on Choose Alarm Tone button
- Select your own music file (.mp3) from your SD card
- Set up volume + vibration mode - Press "Try" button to check it works without error then close the screen (remember, select music from SD card!)
- Once your back to the main screen, change the Current Status to "ON", change your Alarm time to several minutes in the future (for testing purposes), select a puzzle
- Exit by selecting "close" from menu
- Wait several minutes for puZZed to start (will most likely have to grant permission)
- Change the Alarm time to the time you want to wake up tomorrow morning
- Sleep
- Get woken up by puZZed then write review and purchase additional puzzles.

Latest feature addition: The Ultimate Feature
We've received comments from small number of you about the app being too easily turned off, by reinserting the battery.
Our solution to this problem is The Ultimate Feature which allows the app to recognize the reinserting the battery and take action upon restart of your BlackBerry. With The Ultimate Feature turned on, the app will continue the alarm upon restart of your phone, making it impossible to turn off the alarm unless you solve the puzzle! It's one more way for us to annoy you in the morning!
We hope The Ultimate Feature can get the small number of you (lazy users) to actually wake up in the morning! Please shoot us an email if you have interesting/funny episode in the morning by using puZZed!
